Music Notes:

Orchestra Practice - Sundays at 9:15 am. Playing your instrument for the Lord is a special talent that you have been given for your benefit and to bless Him, Who gave it to you. You honor Him and are a blessing when you do.

Choir Practices - Sunday, April 2 at 4:30 pm and Thursday, April 6 at 7 pm for our final practice. Pray for the power to present the message of the cantata in thanks for what Jesus did in His sacrifice for us and all mankind. He’s worthy of all the glory we can offer to Him.

Treehouse Kids - Wednesdays at 6:45 pm. - If anyone enjoys singing songs for the Lord, it’s the THK choir. Hearing them is always a reason to share their praise and joy. Pray for them as they practice their spring program.

Easter Cantata - The Sanctuary Choir will present “Jesus the Undefeated One” next Sunday evening at 6 pm as we remember, and celebrate, the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Join us for the celebration of His triumph for us.

Youth News:

 

Treehouse Kids (2 yrs old – 5th grade) - The THK are working on their Spring Musical “All About the Call.” Be sure to mark your calendar for May 7 and join us at 11 am to see all their hard work in action.

Rooted (Youth Ministry, 6th – 12th grade) - Join Rooted at 7 pm at 7pm Wednesday nights – studying “I Became a New Creature” This week’s lesson will be “From Heart to Life”; looking at ways to make our faith real. Come and bring a friend with you. Bro. Victor will be teaching the lessons for the month of April. (Growth Requires Investment)

VBS - Save the date for our STELLAR VBS WEEK! Sunday June 4 – Thursday June 8, each night the fun begins at 6 pm – 8:30 pm. Pick up a flyer at the welcome desk and register online at https://forms.gle/pDxgv4kLdqQo9c1a8

Youth Tour 2023 begins June 9 - 17. We will be helping the First Heritage Baptist Church and Pastor Mike Jones in Fayetteville, NC with their first VBS. (PLAN!)

Mid-Week Bible Study - In the sanctuary on Wednesday Nights, we are going through a study entitled “More Than A Name. Be sure to come and invite a guest to come with you – 7 pm.

Easter Sunrise Service is April 9 at 7:30 am. Following service we will have breakfast and after breakfast will be Sunday School. Please bring your favorite breakfast goodies to share. Hostess Team #1 Shirley Shelton & #2 Paula Woodall.

FRIENDS group will be going to play miniature golf at Family Fun Center on April 22. We will carpool, meet at the church 11 am.

Save the Date – April 29 we will have our Annual Ladies Tea from 11 am – 1 pm. Sign-up sheets are in the foyer for those who will be decorating tables and also for the men who are willing to help serve. Thank you for your support!

Emmaus Baptist College Month - The month of April has been set aside as Emmaus Baptist College Month and each Sunday Evening (Except Easter), a representative of the college will bring the Sunday Evening message. Please make your plans to support each student and the services with your attendance.
