Music Notes:
Orchestra Practice - Sundays at 9:15 am. That’s all we can do: start where we are with what we have. Let’s use our talents to serve the Lord and encourage hearts.
Choir Practice - Sundays at 5 pm. May our songs be a source of inspiration, stirring hearts and igniting the flame of faith.
Youth News:
ROOTED (6th - 12th grades) - Wednesday nights at 7 pm. When we come to the end of our lives, will we be able to look back and be proud of all the choices we made? The answer is no, because we all make mistakes. However, Jesus challenged the world to be more concerned with the state of our souls than with the status of our possessions. Instead of filling our lives with “things” and temporary possessions, let’s strive to fill our lives with etepleasernal rewards! What we do with Jesus is far more important than anything the world has to offer. Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Treehouse Kids (2 yrs old – 5th grade) - Wednesdays at 7 pm. REMINDER: Anyone who has helped with Tree House Kids, please make plans to attend the THK Appreciation Dinner, August 29 from 5 - 7 pm. There is a sign-up sheet in the church foyer. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Help Wanted! Help with operating the audio and visual aspects of our services is wanted. Interested in assisting with the soundboard, worship songs on the screens, and/or livestreaming? See Adam Fowler and Craig Lennard for more information (they're in the balcony). Training will be provided. Thank you!
