Music Notes:

Orchestra Practice - Sundays at 9:15 am. Making music with our friends honors the Lord and it serve to bless the hearts of God’s people. Come, be a blessing!

 

Choir Practice - Sundays at 5 pm. Choir members and all ‘newbees’ are welcomed!

Youth News:

​

Treehouse Kids (2 yrs old – 5th grade) - Wednesdays at 6:45 pm. Our “Treehouse Ministry” is growing with new smiling faces and energetic bodies joining themselves to this time of Bible Lessons and fun. Ms. Apple and Crew continue to do a great job with our children. When you get the chance – please give them a kind word of appreciation. It matters!

​Rooted (Youth Ministry, 6th – 12th grade) - Wednesdays at 7 pm. 

​

VBS Prep Dates

  • Friday, May 31 6 – 9 pm (Fellowship Hall) Dinner Provided

  • Saturday, June 1 10 am – Finish (Fellowship Hall) Lunch Provided

THANK YOU to everyone who came out last weekend and spent time with Jonathan Christman and made him feel welcomed and for those who participated in our Youth Auction. You contributed $4,300 to the Youth Tour. Thank you for being a blessing!

​

The dates for Youth Tour are June 10-14. If you have not signed up to be a part of this year’s tour and still would like to go, please see Ms. Jeannette or Bro. Kerry ASAP!

​

Make plans to join us for Cottage Prayer Monday, April 29 through Wednesday, May 1 as we prepare our hearts for Revival. Monday evening's meeting will be at the Vinson residence at 6:30 pm. Tuesday evening's meeting will be at the Beaty residence at 6:30 pm. Wednesday evening's meeting will be at LOBC at 7 pm in place of all adult services. Please call the church office for addresses (813-754-5278). Bro. Chase Reynolds will be with us beginning Thursday night at 7 pm through Saturday night at 7 pm, including both services on Sunday.

Mid-Week Bible Study - Wednesday Night Study in the sanctuary we will give our attention to Faith being Greater than our Fear/Overcoming Fear (I Sam. 17:1-11). Come, let’s grow our faith as we give our eyes, ears and hearts to studying the Word of God.

National Day of Prayer is May 2 and we will have Drive Thru Prayer from 8 am – 12 pm. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer for those who would like to come and be a part of this outreach. We will need people at the church to pray with those who stop by and also people to hold signs at a few locations close to the church. We will rotate so no one is staying in the same spot too long.

Dates for VBS: June 2 – 6. We are getting ready for VBS and need your help! . Please see the dates on the inside of the bulletin (and above on this webpage ^) if you are able to lend a hand.
